I find good the scheme used on the back-end interface that comes with 2.0 technlogies,
I suggest a reading of the post on Commercial Open source Blog where you can find, in comments, an interesting debate on the choice of BSD license, rather than GPL.
I would want to add one consideration about the password managment policy that I read on Silverstripe discussion forum were I found a light approach at the problem.
I find interesting the approach of other development team, for an example joomla, that support their job using the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) web application security system to categorize security vunerabilities found within their CMS.
