Moodlemoot taked place
22th to 23th of March at University of Reggio emilia
It is a conference dedicated to users, developers and administrators of the very popular open-source VLE called Moodle.
Several of the moodlemoot sessions listed in the moodlemoot 2007 course have been supported with audio recordings and .pdf files of the presentation slides or papers.
“Philosophers” and “Pedagogists” and “Educators” have spoken about constructivism and collaborativism on the informal learning and bla bla bla, as always.

The absence of tecnologist and computer scietiest has not allowed to discuss new lines of developement based on web 2.0.
Moodlemoot has been a showcase for consumers to say them “here we are , let’s you look how much good we are to use a Open Source product…!”
Where is the contribution to the community hearth of a good moodlemoot?

Soodle is a mashup between Second Life and Moodle learning management system.
The project is integrating Moodle’s virtual learning environment into the 3D environment of Second Life, adding the 3D interactive capabilities of the virtual world to Moodle’s course-managment tools.
This sounds a brilliant idea.

Bill Gates, chairman of Microsoft, will speak at Harvard University’s commencement ceremony in June and, like all commencement speakers, will receive an honorary degree from the institution.
During his junior year, Gates dropped out of the university to work full-time on Microsoft, a company he and his childhood friend Paul Allen founded. In hindsight, it’s hard to criticize that decision.
The commencement ceremony takes place June 7. Harvard awards honorary degrees in different subjects, but doesn’t announce the subject in advance.
