Supercook is a new recipe search engine that finds recipes you can make with the ingredients you have at home. To begin, simply start adding ingredients you have. The more ingredients you add, the better the results will be.

When first visiting Supercook, you will notice a section on the left labeled ‘My kitchen’.

The goal is to add the ingredients you have at home into ‘Your kitchen’ on Supercook.

But at least Supercook assumes your kitchen at home has salt, pepper, sugar and water.

Adding ingredients is easy, simply type the name of the ingredient like ‘ground beef’.

With every new ingredient you add to ‘Your Kitchen’, Supercook automatically figures out the best recipes you can make, trying first to find recipes which call for ingredients you have, or alternatively, recipes which only need minimal extra ingredients.

Supercook is a search engine, so it constantly crawls the web to find new recipes. Well over 250,000 recipes have already been found.

Philantropic goals are in Page and Brin’s intentions. Another Google is going to shape. Not only the very famous Google.com with its search engine, internet services supported by ads, the new wireless blackboard Android, but also Google.org, an organization developing technologies based on clean, renewable energy sources, solar, geothermical and aelion power. RE<C is the new more relevant program inside the web site, a union point between the philantropic goals of the organization and the business requirements. Reducing costs of power consumption and selling the new technologies to other companies is their prior activity. 2 billion dollars is the starting capital coming from Mountain View shares.

That’s a very, very brilliant idea on the point of view of the green economy and a very, very good business, too.
