It happens in New York that the Police has improved the emergency number, 911, so that people can send photos and video clips to resolve crimes:

an image worth a thousand words of a witness.

The upload system on the web will not be automatic, it’s necessary to call the 911 to send the burning material in order to be traced by the Police Department.

Maybe in future will be implemented an automatic traces to encourage people to use this innovative system.

The data will be shared between the U.S. forces.

Maybe the freedom of video and photo share will become a way to loss freedom for someone.

In partnership with the Pulitzer Center, YouTube presents Project: Report, a journalism contest (made possible by Sony VAIO & Intel) intended for non-professional, aspiring journalists to tell stories that might not otherwise be told.

In each of the three rounds, reporters will be given an assignment to complete. Winners of each round will receive technology prizes from Sony VAIO & Intel, and the grand prize winner will be granted a $10,000 journalism fellowship with the Pulitzer Center to report on a story abroad.
